About

Debbie MacDonald M.Ed. R. Psych (APE) #744

Debbie's areas of practice include: anxiety, depression, stress management, self-esteem, emotional dysregulation, parenting challenges, and behavioral difficulties. She provides evidence based therapeutic interventions/strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT),  and Solution Focused (SF) Therapy. 


As a Registered Psychologist she is able to provide cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments for children and adolescents. She has extensive experience in an educational setting, both as a classroom teacher, student support services teacher, and psychologist. Debbie is able to  identify and explain a student's learning profile which includes their strengths and challenges, and provide recommendations for Learning Disorders, Intellectual Disabilities, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, as well as screening for executive functioning difficulties.


Debbie  is a member of the Psychological Association of Saskatchewan and is registered with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists.



  

Debbie is committed to helping individuals develop strength and resilience. She offers a warm, welcoming, and safe environment where you can share and problem solve. Debbie will work collaboratively with clients to identify goals that promote self-improvement and learn new coping skills while developing self-awareness.
